Wallet Setup Options
When setting up station wallets, there are three ways to configure how rewards are distributed and claimed:
Owner Only
All rewards go to the owner’s wallet.
Applies by default to any station not configured with a host wallet.
Owner + Host (No Account / Anonymous)
A host wallet can be added with a defined percentage of rewards.
When the owner claims, that share goes to the host wallet and the remainder goes to the owner.
The host has no Wingbits account, only the wallet address is used.
Owner + Host (With Account / Email)
An existing Wingbits account can be added as host.
Works like the anonymous option, except the host sets their own wallet address and claims rewards independently.
The owner still controls the reward percentage, but the host decides when to claim (useful for managing tax events).
Wallet Setup Steps
Wallet related actions require MFA/2FA verification (multifactor or two-factor authentication), to make sure you are actually the one modifying how your rewards are changed.
Owner wallet
Your owner wallet is the default wallet for all stations without host rewards splitting setup. It is also the default wallet to receive any rewards not allocated to hosts (when splitting is setup).
Added on the WALLETS page of the Dashboard when logged in, using the "+ Add wallet" button.
Just enter an alias for the "Wallet name" as something you can easily understand to mean this public wallet address, then also copy/paste the public Solana address you obtained from your wallet app. Click "Save" when done.
Host wallet - Anonymous
Added under each station on the MY STATIONS page of the Dashboard, when logged in, using the 3 dots menu and selecting "Assign Host":
Choose "Wallet (Anonymous)"
Under "Host wallet" enter the the host's public wallet.
Update the "Host percentage". This is the percentage of the rewards for this station, your owner wallet will get the remaining percentage. Both owner and host wallets will get their percentages when you claim.
Click "Assign Host"
Host wallet - Email Account
Added under each station on the MY STATIONS page of the Dashboard when, logged in, using the 3 dots menu and selecting "Assign Host":
Choose "Email (Account)"
Under "Host email address" enter an existing Wingbits account email (have the host create an account if they don't have one created already).
Update the "Host percentage". This is the percentage of the rewards for this station, your owner wallet will get the remaining percentage when you claim. They will get their percentage when they claim.
Click "Assign Host"
Update Host wallet (either)
Under each station on the MY STATIONS page of the Dashboard, when logged in, click the 3 dots menu and select "Update Host Contract".
From that point, you can follow the above setup options depending on how you want to setup the host.
Remove Host from Station
Under each station on the MY STATIONS page of the Dashboard, when logged in, click the 3 dots menu and select "Remove Host". The station will now be 100% owner wallet rewarded.
